After reading this article I remembered about a discussion I had long back with a friend, where we were talking about how many people act violently and in gross manners, and have lack of empathy and compassion to leave someone injured and dying unattended only because they do not want to get involved, is actually when humans behave worse than animals, because there have been numerous instances when animals have tried to save another animal or tried to push aside so that it is not further injured, or even sadly lied down beside the dying animal.
